At Line-X of Sarasota we spray a great deal of aluminum and fiberglass boats! Line-X alone sticks very well to fiberglass & gelcoat. Aluminum is another story-In order to make sure we were using the absolute best application method for applying Line-X to aluminum we conducted some in house testing at our shop! We sprayed a sandblasted test panel with six different prep & primer combinations to see what stuck best!
